Tree Survey for the largest development site on the Isle of Wight

This is the nearest we have come to working overseas said Jeremy.  He and his brother Andrew spent three days in the middle of November surveying the many hundreds of trees on 54 hectares of farmland on the edge of  Ryde.  The site is destined to be the largest residential development site on the island and the protection of trees is a key part of the master plan.  Blessed with three days of dry weather we plotted and assessed all the major trees and measured the root protection areas in accordance with the British Standard recommendations. This is the largest site that we have surveyed so far and we are very pleased to be involved at such an early stage of the project.
