At Colin Sanders Innovation Centre we have excellent facilities for conference meetings and for some time we have wanted to arrange a landscape CPD training event in Banbury.

I met Geosynthetics on their stand at the Street Design exhibition, NEC Birmingham and we discussed their range of products for protecting and supporting mature and newly planted trees. I thought others may like to know about the techniques employed and they offered to present a CPD training event if we would organise the facility and attendees.

It was a great success and we had an excellent mixed audience of landscape architects, architects, engineers and arboriculturalists. We now aim to hold similar events probably every three to four months, covering a range of ‘cross over’ landscape and building construction topics.
